These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

1.GENERAL

We endeavor to keep precise stock counts on our website; however, occasional discrepancies may occur, leading to unavailability of certain items at the time of purchase. If this happens, we will fulfill the available products and promptly notify you. You will then have the option to either await restocking of the back-ordered item or request a refund for the unavailable product.

2.PAYMENT/REFUND

Payment at Built is facilitated through the esteemed ‘SecurePay’ web payment gateway by Instamojo, renowned for its robust security measures, customer privacy policies, and user-friendly payment options. Any discrepancies or errors encountered during regular transactions should be promptly reported to the respective application team. It is imperative to adhere to all rules and conditions specified by the payment application by thoroughly reviewing their instructions and policies.

Refund Policy: Built generally does not accept returns or offer refunds. However, if you receive a product with damage or size issues, you may request an exchange. To qualify for an exchange, the purchased product must be returned within two days of purchase in its original condition. Once the returned products are received and deemed acceptable, exchanges will be processed promptly. You will be notified via email once the exchange is completed.

3.SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs at Built are calculated during the checkout process based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in your order. The shipping fee will be included in your total purchase price, ensuring a transparent and straightforward checkout experience.

4.RETURNS

At Built, we do not accept returns due to a change of mind. However, if you receive a defective product, we require video proof of unboxing the original package, and the item must be shipped back to us within 15 days of receipt, in its original packaging.

Once we receive your item, our team will inspect it, and if deemed acceptable, we will process a refund in the form of store credit for a future purchase. You will be notified via email once the refund is processed. Please note that for credit card payments, it may take 5 to 10 business days for the refund to reflect in your store credit. If the product is damaged after arrival, if you initiate the return after 15 calendar days, or if you fail to provide the original unboxing video, you will not be eligible for a refund. Return shipping costs will be covered by Built for damaged or defective items.

We will refund the value of the returned goods but will not refund the shipping cost, which is typically ₹120 for each order, even if free shipping was offered for some products. Additionally, for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, the ₹50 COD charge will not be refunded in the case of a return.

5.DELIVERY TERMS

Domestic Transit Time:

  • At Built, we deliver all orders within 1-2 working days.
  • For Tamil Nadu: 1-2 working days
  • For Southern States: 3-5 working days
  • For Northern States: 4-7 working days

Please note that shipping is managed by a third-party service provider for Built. Therefore, delays in parcel delivery may occur during public holidays, natural calamities, or strikes.

6.CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS

For change of delivery address requests, you can update the address at any time before we deliver your order.

7.ITEMS OUT OF STOCK

If an item is out of stock, we will deliver the in-stock items immediately and send the remaining items once they become available. You will be notified of any updates via email or WhatsApp message accordingly.

8.DELIVERY TIME EXCEEDED

If the delivery time has exceeded the estimated duration, kindly reach out to us, and we will initiate an investigation. While we are not responsible for delays caused by the courier company, we will assist you in tracking down your package through our courier partner.

9.TRACKING NOTIFICATIONS

Upon deliver, customers will receive a tracking link, allowing them to monitor the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates provided by the shipping provider.

10.PARCELS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If you discover that a parcel is damaged in transit, please consider rejecting the parcel from the courier if possible and promptly contact our customer service team for further assistance. If the parcel has been delivered in your absence, please reach out to our customer service team to discuss the next steps.

11.CANCELLATIONS

If you decide to cancel your order before receiving it, we can accept cancellations at any time before the order has been delivered. However, if your order has already been delivered, please refer to our refund policy for further assistance.

12.INSURANCE

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value specified by the courier.

13.PROCESS FOR PARCEL DAMAGED IN-TRANSIT

We will initiate a refund or replacement as soon as the courier completes their investigation into the claim.

14.PROCESS FOR PARCEL LOST IN TRANSIT

We will proceed with a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and confirmed the parcel as lost.
